The Master of Arts in International Hospitality and Tourism Management (IHTM) at Kyungdong University Global (KDU Global) prepares professionals to apply cutting-edge technologies and management expertise across global hospitality and tourism. The interdisciplinary program builds practical capabilities in project management, strategic planning, business ventures, human resources, innovation, information technology, data science, media management, and industry communications.
Students complete at least 30 credits across Core, Major Elective, and Convergence Elective courses. The curriculum combines tourism and hospitality strategy, global food-service trends, project management, human resource management, new venture development, sustainable destination marketing, venue operations, hospitality supply chains, business intelligence, big data visualization, artificial intelligence, Internet of Things, and applied research. Students may choose a four-semester research track or a five-semester coursework track, with 15-week semesters and classes held only 1 day per week.
Graduates are prepared for careers as hotel, front office, operations, housekeeping, restaurant, and catering managers; beverage specialists; travel consultants; event planners; convention services managers; and adventure tourism specialists β in Korea and around the world.
Beyond the flexible 1-day-per-week schedule, KDU Global provides professional career placement services, more than 20 international student support services including part-time job placement, on-campus research and teaching assistant opportunities, industry internships, and study-abroad pathways with partner universities across Australia, Canada, the United States, Europe, and Asia.
